Adams Parachute Dry Fly

The Parachute Adams is one of the most classic trout patterns around. Because of the neutral grey body, it can be fished in a variety of sizes throughout the year. If you’re out on the water in early spring and see BWO coming off, pull out a size 16 or 18 and get to work. Green Drakes in the early summer? A size 10-12 will do the job. If you prefer simplicity in your dry fly selection, a Parachute Adams is a must have.
